Cheops in 2023: Accelerated growth, leading role as MSP and strong increase in security services

Kontich, 21 march 2024 - In 2023, Cheops again experienced exceptional growth, with both revenue and staff numbers increasing significantly. Cheops thus strengthened its position as a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), reflecting both the company's strategic focus and customer confidence.

22% Revenue Growth

Cheops achieved an impressive 22% increase in revenue in 2023 compared to the previous year. This performance resulted in total revenue of a whopping 57 million euros, reinforcing Cheops' position as a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the Belgian market. This growth reflects not only Cheops' strategic focus, but also the trust customers have in the company.

Milestone of 400 employees reached and again Great Place to Work

Cheops has attracted a lot of IT talent over the past year, resulting in a nice expansion of the workforce and a strengthening of the organisation. As a result of these positive developments, the company has crossed the milestone of 400 employees for the first time in the summer of 2023.

Cheops also received the prestigious "Great Place to Work" award for the second year in a row. The extraordinary 93% score in terms of employee satisfaction is obviously a great recognition of the employees, and confirms that Cheops is a company where they feel valued and proud of their work.

Significant Growth in Managed Security Services

Cheops saw a solid growth in both existing and new customers within the Medium & Large Enterprises segment. The company welcomed new clients such as Pfizer, Ajinomoto, OmniChem, VDK Bank, Puratos, Vooruitzicht, Pollet Water Group, HLB and VIB. Existing collaborations, with customers such as Katoen Natie, Biocartis and Telenet were also further expanded.

There was significant growth in Managed Security Services in 2023. Indeed, the increasing scope and complexity of cyber threats is leading to a growing demand for robust security solutions, which naturally contributed to this expansion. Managed Security Services showed an impressive growth of 58%. Significant progress was also made in the Modern Workplace domain - with 35% growth.

Growing awareness about the importance of IT security has led to a high demand for specialised partners. The approaching deadline of the European NIS2 directive on cyber security is also playing a major role in setting IT priorities.

In an era where cyber threats are constantly evolving and increasing in complexity, it is vital for companies to work with a specialised partner who can help them manage these risks. At Cheops, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of security and peace of mind so they can focus on their core business.

ISO27001certification

2023 was also the year Cheops successfully achieved ISO27001 certification for information security. This certification recognises Cheops' commitment to protecting data both internally and in all customer-related activities. The ISO27001 certification confirms Cheops' reputation as a trusted partner in IT security.
