Compliance

Companies consider it obvious that their assets are protected and secure their offices and warehouses with badges, cameras, alarm systems and security firms. Less attention is often given to protecting less tangible assets, including employee personal data and customer confidential data.

However, having exclusive access to data and keeping confidential information, intellectual property and trade secrets safe is of strategic importance to companies. In addition, companies also manage a lot of confidential and personal data and have a responsibility to keep it inaccessible to third parties.

So companies can no longer avoid putting IT security up high on the agenda and increasing their resilience to cyber threats. Information security is increasingly becoming a requirement on which they are valued and held accountable in case of problems. As such, it is inevitably an established and essential part of business operations.

In this context, Cheops launched a strategic project with the goal of obtaining ISO27001 certification in the near future.

ISO27001 is an international standard that contains best practices and guidelines for managing information security. It helps organizations ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their information by establishing and maintaining an effective information security management system.
