What does a Talent Manager do?
As Talent Manager within our Professional Services department, you will lead a team of consultants who are assigned to our clients on various projects. You are responsible for the onboarding, development and follow-up of the consultants in your team. In addition, together with our recruitment team, you play an important role in the recruitment of top talents from the market to strengthen and expand your team.
You work closely with our account managers on an attractive portfolio of top clients. The correct 'matching' of their needs with our candidates forms the basis of a successful long-term collaboration. Always taking into account the evolution of the client's needs and the development and ambition of our professionals.
As hiring manager you are not only responsible for the final selection of new top talent but you also play an active role in the first interactions with potential candidates at job fairs, events, trainings,... and you work closely with our recruitment team.
You play a key role in the onboarding of new consultants. The foundation of the connection with Cheops and the Cheops culture is laid here. They get the practical ins & outs, get to know Cheops as an organization better, connect with colleagues, establish the basis of a personal development plan and are prepared for client assignments.
As a true leader, you keep your finger on the pulse regarding commitment, performance and ambition of the consultants in your team. In regular consultation, you challenge, motivate, coach and guide them in their development and career.
Together with our account managers, you ensure the necessary rotation of employees on projects in order to make maximum use of their qualities and to take their expectations and ambitions into account.
You regularly consult with the client to monitor the performance of your consultants and adjust where necessary. You are also their first point of contact for any questions or issues.
You are driven, ambitious and entrepreneurial. As a born leader with excellent people skills, you know how the right management and follow-up of a team directly contributes to strong business results.
As Talent Manager you have a Bachelor or Master degree and already have experience as a (functional) manager, preferably in a consultancy context. Knowledge of the ICT market is essential.
